Lent Quiet Day
Saturday 21 February 2026: 10am to 4pm
VENUE: FOXHILL
(open to all Cursillistas and their friends)
The format for the Lent Quiet Day will be quite simply to give us a chance for quiet reflection at the beginning of the season of Lent. The day is primarily open to all Chester and Lichfield Cursillistas but please do also invite any other friends to join us! Foxhill could accommodate up to a maximum of 40 people for our day together, so hopefully we can make the most of this opportunity!
Revd Canon Veronica Hydon will be leading the event, offering some input for reflection at intervals during the day, as well as bringing along some creative and artistic materials for people to use as they wish. We will begin the day with prayers in Chapel at 10am and will have the opportunity to share in a simple Eucharist at the end of the afternoon, finishing by 4.00pm.
Please encourage people to book in as soon as possible please directly via
weekend-coordinator@chestercursillo.org.uk (i.e. NOT to Foxhill)
If anyone you know would like to attend but feels they may find the cost (£38) a difficulty, please ask them to contact me in confidence and I will be happy to discuss it with them. We'd much rather people came along than that they felt unable to join us simply on financial grounds!
The deadline for me letting Foxhill know any specific dietary needs is 14 February, hence my stated deadline for receipt of completed application forms by Friday 13 February. Thank you!
